Pingree/Wheatland Photograph Collection
The Pingree/Wheatland Photograph Collection contains photographs and postcards of landscapes, logging camps, operations, and dams in the lands owned or leased by the Pingree family in Maine. Most of the photos seem to have been taken by Stephen Wheatland (1897-1987) or his brother David Pingree Wheatland (1898-1993). The photographs digitized in this online collection include all of the photographic prints and postcards but none of the photographic negatives. These photographs were digitized with the support of the Pingree heirs.
